The Paphos International Airport is located at the southeast of Paphos. The airport is more famous for holiday makers wishing to enjoy the sunshine at the island's western resort towns. A new terminal was commissioned in November 2008. This renovation also included a new control tower, extension of aircraft parking and of Paphos airport’s old runway. The airport offers various facilities such as car hire, taxis, buses, parking and disabled.
