It is one of the most ancient ports of Cyprus with ancient origins dating back to the time of Alexander the Great. The Paphos Lighthouse is situated in this archaeological site and at a relatively short distance. The port, dominated by its fort, is a pleasant place for a stroll and various tourist activities.
