This communal baths is a late 16th century structure which was built by Lala Mustafa Pasha as a gift to the city. The baths consist three areas: the entrance hall where people get ready for the warm chamber, the warm room where the body is prepared for the hot chamber and the main hot bath area which is heated with under floor heating and the system produces steam for the hot room. The baths are still open to the public with specific days for couples, men and women.
