Why we love Ayia Napa!

As the clubbing capital of Cyprus, Ayia Napa is the number one place to be if you want to party the night away during your Cyprus holiday. With over eighty bars and a great selection of impressive clubs, you won’t be short of venues to choose from and with a friendly atmosphere, it won’t be long before you’re making new friends and enjoying new experiences.

Located on the mid western side of Cyprus, the resort is relatively easy to get to from just about anywhere and the coastal location means that you will also be able to enjoy some time tanning it up on some beautiful soft sandy beaches. Grecian Bay is the closest to the centre of the resort, making it a great choice if you don’t want to travel too far after a night on the tiles. It consists of three sandy bays where you can relax or go for a swim in the famously clear sea and if you plan on spending all day on the sand, why not grab some breakfast from one of the local cafes and don’t forget to keep hydrated under the sun by purchasing some cooling drinks from the local shops.

If you don’t mind travelling a little further a field, head to the famous Nissi Beach, which is one of the most beautiful and popular beaches in the area. Here you will find a welcoming atmosphere with plenty of friendly locals and other tourists out for a good time. It’s the location of many beach parties throughout the year and the water here is conveniently shallow making it ideal for those who wish to enjoy the water and go for a swim without getting out of depth too quickly. There is also Makronisos Beach and Sandy Bay, two other fantastic sandy locations worth visiting if you fancy touring all of the beaches nearby but we are sure that you will be satisfied with the first one you come across. Oh and don’t forget to try some of the exhilarating water sports such as jet skiing and parasailing!

If you fancy seeing more of the crystal clear waters, why not try scuba diving or keep dry by taking a boat trip along the coast. If you can’t get enough of swimming, spend some time at the Waterworld Waterpark, where you will find numerous slides and pools fit for all ages! Dry yourself off by going on a quad safari and enjoy an evening of entertainment at the local fun fair and luna park!

There are also plenty of natural sights to see within the Cape Greco National Forest Park and the Ayia Napa Sea Caves can’t be missed! Take in some history at the Ayia Napa Monastery or simply explore the local shops and pick up some bargains!

Why not make Ayia Napa your holiday destination of choice this year to find out what it’s all about and have a super relaxing time while you’re at it!
